Lamella Clarifier technology is a practice which has not been utilized yet due to the absence of a developed solution although it was recognized as an engineering product 100 years ago intended for setting and floatation processes in water and wastewater treatment systems. Today, Lamella has reached a wide range of usage with superior advantages it brings in processes. Lamella technology (Clarifier) provides Laminar flow conditions in setting and floatation processes in water and wastewater treatment systems and hence provides successful results in obtaining the best exit water quality. Advanced technologies have gained importance in today’s world where water and wastewater treatment have become crucial.
Lamella Clarifier technology cuts investment costs while makes productivity higher. Lamella tube technology, produced from PP or PVC material for the first time in Turkey, has begun to be widely used in water and wastewater treatment system projects.
Lamella is used to separate solid matters and floating matters from liquids. Normally, particles with a size of 50 microns and above separate from water naturally by settling while smaller particles require precipitation by flocculation-coagulation with addition of chemicals to separate from water.
Lamella technology increases active area and provides high efficiency. The biggest advantage provided by this technology is to obtain higher capacities with lower investments. It is an Environmentally-Friendly solution.
We produce 2 types of Lamella modules tailored to customers’ needs and projects. We produce Lamella with frame by ultrasonic welding of trapezoidal plates, or without frame, or with frame and interlaced channels. We have applications for current cylinder pools and settling tanks based on projects. In mining industry, applications for thickener tanks save labor, power and chemicals and make process more effective by increasing settling area and speed.
